Senior Happenings

Roy Reuther Senior Center – Hot Kosher Lunch served daily at noon. Lunch sign-up begins at 9 a.m. Activities daily: Bingo, dancing, yoga, quilting, canasta and others. Thrift Table – February 21.

The Breezy Point Golden Age Club meets each Tuesday, 11 a.m., at St. Thomas More Hall. There is a membership fee and small charge for light refreshments. The first Wednesday of each month, there is a bus trip to Manhattan. Other weekly activities include aerobics, Mon.-Fri. (10:30-11:30 a.m.) and line dancing, Mon.-Wed. (1-2 p.m.) All are welcome.

The Hammel Senior Center provides information about services and benefits for persons over 60, and assistance in accessing them. The Center is located at 90-01 Rockaway Beach Boulevard. For more information contact Janet Brady.

Young Israel Senior League is open to all senior citizens 60 and older. The center opens at 9 a.m. For more information or to request a schedule of events call Fay or Cydelle.

Rockaway Senior Center party and membership will take place every last Thursday of each month at the center located at 307 Beach 37 Street at 11 a.m.

The Builders for Family and Youth Diocese of Brooklyn, Inc. (BFFY), located at 307 Beach 37 Street, provides medical transportation for seniors at reduced half fare. For more information contact Lena Rivera.
