Prayer Circle - Every Thursday morning, from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., Bethel A.M.E. Church hosts a non-denominational prayer service for World Peace, National Healing, and the protection of children. All are invited to attend.

Life Teen mass will take place every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Church, Beach 84 Street, followed by Life Night for high school teens in the Saint Patrick Room in the rectory. For additional information call the Rectory.

West End Temple is having a Purim Carnival on Sunday, March 3, from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. Lots of games, food, fun and prizes. Come one come all.

Bayswater Jewish Center hosts "Shabbat Across America/Canada" Friday night, March 8. Conceived and organized by the National Outreach Program (NJOP) "Shabbat Across America/Canada" represents a unified effort by Judaism’s four major movements to renew interest in the fourth of the Ten Commandments – observing a weekly day of rest (Shabbat in Hebrew). The event will take place starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8. Located at 2355 Healy Avenue in Bayswater (718-471-7771), BJC has been an innovator in Jewish programming and education for over 50 years.
