Change Flight Path Now

Dear Editor:

After viewing yesterday’s crash in Belle Harbor, I think now is the time for our elected officials to contact the Federal Aviation Administration and request that flights coming into and departing from JFK Airport be rerouted to fly over undeveloped land if possible.

This crash is a nightmare and taking into consideration all the high rise apartment houses we have in Rockaway I get chills up my spine thinking of the consequences if one of those building were to be hit.

A solution must be found to try and avoid this from happening again.
