for larger version       Broad Channel Bits A Blood Drive will be held on November 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the American Legion Post 1404, located at 209 Cross Bay Boulevard. Refreshments will be served, and donors are asked to bring photo ID. Golden Age Club of Broad Channel meets every Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. in Christ Presbyterian Hall. The ASPCA Van offers low cost spay/neutering once a month at the Broad Channel Library. Contact the library for more information. Christ Presbyterian Church By-The-Sea will host its annual Craft Fair on November 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature hand made holiday items, baked goods and more. The church is located at Noel and Church Road. The Broad Channel Library Branch will offer "Knitting Classes For Beginners" on November 17, 24 and on 30 at 10 a.m. The workshop is for parents and children, with instructor Eleanor Gross. Pre-registration is required.
