Dot on Roxbury

By Dotty Taphouse

The John McLaughlin Post 8540 of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars had their Annual Veteran's Day Mass on
Saturday November 16th at St. Genevieve's Church at 9 a.m.  Instead of their annual dinner dance in light of the World Trade Center Tragedy it was followed by a brunch in Father Hession Hall and catered by Timmy Feimer of the Roxbury Barn II.

After the delicious brunch, the Poshad a special service for worn & ripped American Flags to burn in proper Military Manner outside Father Hession Hall.  It was a beautiful day and a lovely ceremony.
Congratulations to our new Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Dennis Butler Supreme Court Judge and all the other
winning candidates.

Happy Birthday J.R. McDermott 11/20

Love Dot
