for larger version       Boardrunners Begin Season The third annual Boardwalk Speed Series begins Thursday, June 7 at 7pm and will continue to run weekly until July 12. Each evening will feature a-400 meter, one mile and 5K run. The 400 will start at 7 p.m. sharp so if you’re interested come down to Beach 95th street (by the whale). Runners can be "on the boards" to have some fun and get a really good workout. For info on the Rockaway Boardwalk Speed Series call 718-474-9525.
