Beach Channel High School Crew Vict-Oar-Ious

On Saturday May 19, the Beach Channel High School Crew team competed in the Eastern States Rowing Championship at West Point.

Racing in six events, the team won four medals. The Senior and Junior Boys Eights won Bronze Medals. The Lightweight Boys Four won a silver medal. The Novice Boys Four, however were the victors of the day as they took home a gold medal.

The Girls Novice Eight placed fourth in their qualifying heat, narrowly missing an opportunity to compete in the medal round.
