Annual Family Health Fair at Peninsula Hospital Center, Beach Channel Drive and 51 Street on June 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine under the big top. A fun-filled afternoon of free health screenings, education, and entertainment.

Rockaway Point Volunteer Fire Department will conduct an Annual Blood Drive on Saturday, June 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Center, 204-10 Rockaway Point Boulevard.

Free pregnancy testing at Multivitz Health Services, 495 Beach 20 Street, Monday through Saturday. OB/GYN services available.

Free blood pressure screening every Thursday, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at The Adult Day Health Care Center, located in the Peninsula Hospital Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation.

Peninsula Hospital offers a Parkinson Support Group every second Wednesday of the month, at 1 p.m., in the Meditation Room of the hospital. The group is open to all persons with Parkinson’s disease, their families and friends. For more information call Bea Cordero, R.N.

The Diabetes Support Group, of Peninsula Hospital, offers counseling and information the first Wednesday of every month. The meetings take place in the Meditation Room. The program is free and will feature guest speakers on relevant topics. For information contact the Family Health Center.

The Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group meets at Peninsula Hospital Center the last Wednesday of every month, at 6:30 p.m., in the Dining Room of the TBI unit. The program is free. Please call Rozann Pomerantz in the Social Work Department.

Peninsula Hospital Center’s West End Auxillary Luncheon/Meeting will take place on June 5, 12p.m., in the Meditation Room. A presentation on "Women’s Health" will be featured, and Marc Behar, M.D. will serve as host.

Peninsula Hospital Center’s annual health fair will be held on Saturday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, under the big-top tent. Free health screenings, free health education materials, entertainment, refreshments and gifts will be provided. All are invited.

Peninsula Hospital Center’s open annual meeting will take place on Monday, June 11, at 7 p.m., on site under the big-top tent. The election of Officers and the Declaration of the Ambulatory Surgery Unit will be part of the agenda. All are invited.

Alzheimer’s caregivers support group at the Neponsit Adult Day Health Care Program at Young Israel of Far Rockaway, 716 Beach 9 Street, every second and fourth Thursday of the month, 1 to 3 p.m.

Peninsula Hospital Center offers free immunizations for children up to age 18 all year round through the Family Health Center. Free childhood immunizations are regularly sch-eduled at the center on Wednesdays.

Free pregnancy screening at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, Monday through Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Thursday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. OB/GYN services also available.
