Walking group meets at Fort Tilden every Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.

Gateway National Recreation Area Jamaica Bay Unit Junior Ranger Program, one day a week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for six weeks beginning the week of July 9. The program will include an overnight campout, sailing, and many more exciting and educational activities. Two age groups: 6-8 and 9-12. A fee is required. Contact Nancy Corona for information and an application (deadline June 12). Teen Rangers, ages 13-18, are also needed.
