Senior Happenings

Dayton Towers West Men’s Club will hold an AARP safe driver course for seniors 50 years and older on Tuesday, March 13 to Wednesday, March 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Contact Norman Schwartz, 102-00 Shore Front parkway, for more information.

Registration is now open for the 55 Alive driving course for anyone 50 years and older or accompanied by a spouse 50 or older. The course is given through AARP at the Young Israel of Wavecrest and Bayswater senior center, 2716 Healy avenue, on Wednesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Young Israel Senior League is open to all senior citizens 60 and older. The center opens at 9 a.m. and lunch is served at 12 noon. A contribution of one dollar is suggested. For more information or to request a schedule of events call Fay or Cydelle.

Rockaway Senior Center party and membership will take place every last Thursday of each month at the center located at 307 Beach 37 street at 11 a.m.
