for larger version       Religious Events Beth-El Temple Church of God in Christ, 1874 Mott avenue, is holding a memorial service for its founder, the late Reverend Dr. Charles H. Jones on Sunday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Elder William Page from Lockett Memorial Church of God in Christ, New Jersey. St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 19-20 Mott avenue, Far Rockaway, Social Action Committee Sixth Annual Stars & Shamrocks luncheon, Tuesday, March 13, 1 – 4 p.m. Music, dancing with Jim McPhail, and Irish accordion will provide entertainment. Ladies Aid Society of the First Congregational Church, 320 Beach 94 street, will have their St. Patrick’s tea on March 15 in the John C. Green Chapel. Refreshments will be served and entertainment will be by Sister Mary Beatta. Congregation Darchay Noam, Bays water Jewish Center is offering free membership to Sisterhood and Men’s Club until June 30, 2001. Life Teen mass will take place every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Church, Beach 84 street, followed by a Life Night for high school age teens in the Saint Patrick Room in the rectory. Small group discussions are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Francis de Sales Rectory, 129-16 Rockaway Beach boulevard.
