Courses and Workshops

English conversation groups for students of English as a second language will start at the Queens Library’s Peninsula Adult Center, 92-25 Rockaway Beach boulevard on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. until April 16 and on Friday mornings from 10:30 to 12 noon until April 27. Registration is required.

Rockaway Theatre Company will begin a 10-week theater dance workshop on Tuesdays in March and a vocal workshop on Wednesdays in March from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Professor Herbert Druks will speak on the topic of Arab-Israeli relations in a lecture entitled "Peace, Peace, and There is No Peace" to be held at Congregation Darchy Noam, Healy street and Dickens avenue, Far Rockaway, on Sunday, March 4 at 10 a.m. A light breakfast will be served.
