Courses and Workshops

Men’s Club of West End Temple, in cooperation with the Rockaway Catholic-Jewish Council, will hold its 23 annual one-day seminar on Sunday, October 29. This year’s theme is "Science and Religion—Conflict or Accommodation." Those interested can write to Jesse Plutzer, Men’s Club, West End Temple, 147-02 Newport avenue, for a registration blank.

Volunteers needed to tutor adult new readers in basic reading and writing at the Queens Library’s Peninsula Adult Learning Center, 92-25 Rockaway Beach boulevard. Training by library staff will start in September. Contact the Center for more information.
