Regarding Barbara Morris’ letter to you about the rest rooms for the Sweet ‘N Low Race, today the rest rooms were opened at 11:30 a.m at Beach 106 street and are filthy! The concessionaire opens them when he wants and there are never any attendants around never mind one for the woman's and one for the men’s
room.

There are no trashcans at all on the boardwalk here and people stick used pampers, coffee cups and other garbage by the telephones to get rid of it. I don't know why you should have to walk down on the sand to get rid of trash! I do not know of anywhere else in the city that does not have trashcans available where there are large numbers of people. By the way neither phone works either!
