Broad Channel Library events: Allan Andrade, author of "The S.S. Leopoldville Disaster: December 24, 1944", will present a slide show and discussion on the worst disaster suffered by an American infantry on Monday, May 8 at 6:45 p.m.; Adult Paper Sculpture class on Saturday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. Lan Fen Lin will show participants how to create beautiful paper flower sculptures. The library is located at 16-26 Cross Bay boulevard.
