Kathleen and Chris Dalton of Rockaway Point are the very proud parents of a baby girl Michaela Patricia Dalton, who entered our world on April 20, 1999 weighing six pounds, six ounces. The thrilled grandparents are Joan and Jack Dalton of Rockaway Park and Patricia and Frank Kelly of Rockaway Point. Robert Costello and Martha Glynn are the delighted great grandparents.

Glen Taphouse celebrated his 30 birthday of May 12, 1999 with a surprise birthday party on May 14 at the Honkey Dorey Café in Sunnyside. His wife Tanya planned the party. Family and friends enjoyed the delicious food, drinks and music.

Congratulations to Roxbury’s newest American citizen, Annie Baatz (April 21, 1999). She’s a real Yankee Doodle Dandy!

There will be a trip to New York City on Wednesday, May 26; cost $14 for transportation leaving at 10:00 a.m. Call me if interested-return from New York at 7 p.m.

Fay Calabro of Rockaway Point celebrated her birthday of May 16 with family and friends at a delicious brunch at the Beach Club.
